Learn how your exam scores can translate into IU credit

IU Bloomington faculty have established course credit articulations for a variety of standardized exams and for certain departmental examinations, allowing you to earn college credit before you arrive on campus.

Standardized exams

IU Bloomington awards course credit to Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµs who have earned qualifying scores on a number of nationally recognized, standardized exams. For details regarding test articulations, see the following resources:

Departmental exams

Some academic units offer optional IU Bloomington exemption exams, which allow Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµs to demonstrate knowledge for which they have not previously earned academic credit. With qualifying scores, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµs may earn course credit. For details, see the following:
