What is the Japan Alumni Chapter Scholarship?
The Japan Alumni Chapter Scholarship is a one-time award for Ï㽶ÊÓƵs from Japan who show high academic excellence. Preference is given to incoming undergraduate Ï㽶ÊÓƵs at IU Bloomington.
Eligibility
To be considered, Ï㽶ÊÓƵs must:
- Be a Japanese citizen.
- Demonstrate strong academic achievement.
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll as an undergraduate Ï㽶ÊÓƵ at IU Bloomington.
How to apply
Students are automatically considered for this scholarship when they apply for admission to IU Bloomington. No separate scholarship application is required.
Deadline to apply
Submit all your admission application materials by February 1 to be considered.

The Japan Alumni Chapter is part of IU’s global alumni network and supports educational opportunities for Ï㽶ÊÓƵs from Japan. Through this scholarship, the chapter helps outstanding Ï㽶ÊÓƵs pursue their academic goals at IU Bloomington.
