Student: There are different ways to start your academic path at IU.

Student: For most schools, this simply involves listing a major within that school on the application and being offered admission to Indiana University.

Student: For some schools, additional criteria, an additional application, or an audition and interview may be considered.

Student: Students who are directly admitted to their program will work with an expert academic advisor from their school to plan their academic journey

Student: and still have space to take courses in other schools or add a second major or minor.

Student: Exploratory Ï㽶ÊÓƵs and Ï㽶ÊÓƵs entering as pre-business or pre-nursing majors will work with academic advisors from Advising and Major Exploration Services or AMES.

Student: AMES advisors helps Ï㽶ÊÓƵs understand their academic options across IU Bloomington's 12 schools, whether they've already had a major in mind or not.
