Please join me in congratulating the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ journalists at the Indiana Daily Student and Arbutus yearbook on at the National College Media Convention in New York City in March.
Sponsored by the College Media Association, the recognize excellence in Ï㽶ÊÓƵ-produced and Ï㽶ÊÓƵ-published work. This year, IU Ï㽶ÊÓƵ media organizations placed in six categories and received two honorable mentions among 463 entries, a recognition of their place among the top collegiate journalism and media production organizations.
David Tolchinsky, dean of The Media School, praised the winners, saying, “I’m thrilled but not surprised that the Indiana Daily Student and Arbutus won these national awards, named for our own late David L.
