Strategic planning at IU Bloomington

Building on more than two centuries of achievement, Indiana University is charting a course for its third century. Our strategic plan serves as a roadmap, aligning the Bloomington campus with the university-wide IU 2030 framework to solidify our standing as a world-class leader in education, research, and impact.

Highlights from the plan’s third year include the launch of eight new degree programs in high-demand fields like robotics, computer engineering, and business intelligence and data science; expanded financial aid support for Indiana Ï㽶ÊÓƵs through new need-based grants; and a redesigned general education framework aimed at creating a more connected undergraduate experience.
