Eligibility
To be considered, Ï㽶ÊÓƵs must be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Media School.

How to apply
The Media School administers this scholarship and matches Ï㽶ÊÓƵs primarily through IU's Selective Scholarship Application.
To be eligible to complete the SSA, you must apply for admission to IU by November 1 and indicate your interest in journalism, media, or game design. Once admitted, top Ï㽶ÊÓƵs will be invited to complete the SSA.
In previous years, Ï㽶ÊÓƵs invited to complete the SSA for The Media School have had SAT scores upward of 1280 and ACT scores of at least 27, and GPAs of 3.6 or higher. International Ï㽶ÊÓƵs who complete the SSA will automatically be considered for the Schurz award.
Deadline
Students who apply to IU after November 1 or do not qualify for the SSA may complete a separate application to be considered for the Schurz Scholarship. We recommend applying by February 1 for full consideration.
