Ï㽶ÊÓƵ

Your Orientation Steps

Your Hoosier Experience starts here

Congratulations on earning admission to Indiana University Bloomington! Your New Student Orientation experience will provide you with opportunities to meet other Hoosiers, work with an academic advisor to register for classes, and feel excited and prepared to start your journey as an IU Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.

Orientation for undergraduate Ï㽶ÊÓƵs is a four-step process. You’ll get started in the Orientation Portal and complete required pre-orientation items, meet with an academic advisor to register for classes, attend a Foundations of Orientation program, and then transition into start-of-semester experiences, including Hoosier Welcome, that support your first year as a Hoosier.

Fees

The IU New Student Fee, set by the Indiana University Finance Office, supports many initiatives for first year Hoosiers, including New Student Orientation. This fee will be on your first IU tuition bill after completing New Student Orientation. While you do not need to pay it up front, you are responsible for the fee once you make your orientation reservation.
